PLANNING FEE AGREEMENT
This Planning Fee Agreement (“Agreement”) together with the Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) at https://www.travelguytim.com are:
BETWEEN: Tim the Travel Guy (“Agency,” “our,” “us,” or “we”)
AND: You (“you” or “your”)
(each a “Party” and, together, the “Parties”).
The Parties agree as set out below.
This Agreement becomes effective upon the earlier of: (1) your written, digital, or electronic signature or other acceptance; (2) your payment of Planning Fees; or (3) your Booking, payment toward, or use of Travel Services. The Agreement will terminate upon the earlier of your Trip’s completion or a Party’s written notice of termination to the other Party.
Capitalized words not defined in this Agreement have meanings as set out in the Terms.
CUSTOM TRAVEL PLANNING
We provide custom travel planning covering certain land arrangements and logistics (lodging, rail, transfers, and scheduled activities), which may include the following components: (1) our initial consultation with you; (2) our research regarding options, variations, and pricing; (3) our development of a written proposal; (4) our preparation and finalization of your customized itinerary, in collaboration with you; (5) our bookings on your behalf; and (6) our support during your travel.
If you require services not set out in this Agreement, we are glad to discuss options tailored to your needs.
GENERAL TERMS
Our custom travel planning fees (“Planning Fees”) are based on the complexity of your Trip.
Planning Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and in addition to the cost of your travel, your travel insurance, and other third-party costs, all of which will be paid separately by you.
You agree to: (1) carefully read and understand the Terms, your Trip Documentation, and all correspondence between you and us regarding your Trip; (2) notify us promptly, and in any event within 24 hours from your receipt, of any errors or omissions in your Trip Documentation; (3) contact us to arrange your Trip sufficiently prior to travel dates to ensure availability, avoid late-Booking fees, and avoid fare increases; (4) make all deposits and payments per the schedules and dates set out in your Trip Documentation; and (5) review, remain aware, and remain up-to-date regarding travel warnings relating to your Trip by accessing the U.S. governmental travel advisory sites, as set out in the Terms.
